Abs Workout Men

In this article we’re not going to give you another six pack abs workout for men with hundreds of sit-ups and crunches every week. The following principles and methods can be followed to get the abs, but more efficiently and with less work.

Exercises Targeting Abs?

You don’t even have to do the exercises that target abs specifically. Your focus should be body composition, so deadlift and squats are necessary in your workout regimen.

Both squat and deadlift promote excellent muscle growth in the abs. More importantly is the promotion of muscle in the rest of the body. More muscle is more costly when it comes to energy, which means your body naturally is burning more fat. In other words your metabolism will increase. This phenomenon also applies when you’re watching television or even when you’re sleeping. Adding another exercise like crunch is of course possible, but not that important.

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

In the last couple of years there has been a growing amount of research supporting the link between HIIT and fat loss.  These types of exercises are usually short intervals varying high effort and breaks. One great HIIT method is called 4×4. Start with a light warm-up of about 5 minutes. Then do 4 intervals each with 4 minutes of high effort. After each 4 minutes of high effort you should spend 3 minutes walking and getting your breathing down. You should be able to complete this in under 30 minutes and one workout a week is sufficient.

Ab Roller And Other Internet Scams

There are no best abs workout for men. Don’t buy into the marketing noise and all the hype about getting a six-pack. You know that fat loss is the most important factor when it comes to great abs, so naturally this should be your focus. Mix big compound exercises like deadlift and squats with hard work and you should be well on your way.

The Workout Plan

The most important thing to remember when it comes to your workout is that it actually fits in your daily schedule. You should also do some of the exercises you think are the most fun. The worst thing that can happen is for you too lose your motivation and quit. That being said it’s important that you implement the principles you learn because they will definitely boost your progress to get a great set of abs.
